WhizCut exhibited at ThaiMetalex 2025 in Bangkok, one of Southeast Asia’s most important manufacturing exhibitions. The event was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our products, meet customers, and exchange ideas on how to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
At the show, we presented our range of WhizCut precision tools together with JBS flexible guide bushes, which we proudly represent in Asia. We were honored to exhibit alongside KGK in their booth. A collaboration that made it possible to connect with many industry professionals and share valuable insights.
– It was great working together and meeting so many people from the industry, says Chris Schmidt, Managing Director of WhizCut, who attended the exhibition alongside Teerarat Sarakwan, Managing Director of WhizCut Asia.
Optimizing production
One of the most notable trends we observed was the growing interest in our WhizTwin parting off inserts. Manufacturers in Thailand are increasingly focused on optimizing their production cycles and reducing material waste – and WhizTwin is designed to deliver exactly that. Its unique design helps save material, improve tool life, and streamline operations, which aligns perfectly with the goals of many companies in the region.
This interest was clear not only during the exhibition but also in meetings with new customers before the event. Conversations confirmed that efficiency and cost savings are top priorities for manufacturers, and WhizCut is ready to support them with solutions that make a real difference.
– These discussions reinforced the importance of innovation in helping customers achieve their goals. We are excited to continue supporting manufacturers with tools that deliver measurable results, says Chris Schmidt, adding:
– A big thank you to KGK for inviting us to join their booth, and to everyone who visited us during ThaiMetalex. We look forward to building on these connections and working with manufacturers across Thailand and Asia.
ThaiMetalex 2025 was not just an exhibition. It was a chance to strengthen relationships, explore new opportunities, and demonstrate how WhizCut’s expertise in Swiss-type turning can help manufacturers stay competitive in a fast-changing market.
