7M, 8M - Uncoated carbide grades
Uncoated carbide grades 7M and 8M are fully ground carbide grades with sub-micron grain structure achieving 1850Hv in hardness resulting in excellent wear resistance together with an edge radius of 3 microns. Ideal for machining micro parts, Ø1mm and below, where maximum sharpness is beneficial.
9M, 10M - Uncoated carbide grades
Uncoated carbide grades 9M and 10M are fully ground carbide grades with sub-micron grain structure. Tougher grades than uncoated grades 7 and 8. For optimizing the cutting condition of round tools like drills and boring bars while maintaining an edge radius of 3 microns. Ideal for micro internal machining where maximum sharpness is beneficial, Ø1mm and below.
Coated carbide grades
C7, C8, C10 - TiN coated carbide grades
Coated carbide grades C7, C8 and C10 are TiN coated M grades 7, 8 and 10. Reduce coefficient of friction during machining, resulting in reduced build up edge and smoother chip evacuation. Ideal for machining low alloyed automatic steels and nickel based alloys. Will be replaced in the future with honed and coated grade ND (7, 8, 10) where equal tool life is achieved with better surface finish.
F7, F8, F10 - AlTiN coated carbide grades
Coated carbide grades F7, F8 and F10 are AlTiN coated M grades 7, 8, 10, improves heat resistance during machining, resulting in prolonged tool life in applications where coolant can’t be utilized, or during machining materials with low thermal conductivity. Ideal for machining stainless steel and various high temperature alloys.
B7, B8, B10 - AlCrN coated carbide grades
Coated carbide grades B7, B8 and B10 are micron thickness AlCrN coated M grades 7, 8, 10. The thin coating maintains the sharpness of the cutting edge, and at the same time achieves the performance of a coated tool. Resulting in prolonged tool life during machining small parts, Ø6mm and below, or where low cutting speeds are prominent. Ideal for machining titanium and small stainless steel parts.
B9 - AlCrN coated carbide grade
Coated carbide grade B9 is a micron thickness AlCrN coated M grade 9. The thin coating maintains the sharpness of the cutting edge, and at the same time achieves the performance of a coated tool. Resulting in prolonged tool life during machining small parts, Ø6mm and below, or where low cutting speeds are prominent. Ideal for drilling small holes, Ø3mm or below, and threadmilling micro threads, M3 and below.
T7, T8, T10 - Ta-C carbon coated carbide grades
Coated carbide grades T7, T8 and T10 are sub-micron Ta-C carbon coated M grades 7, 8, 10. The thin coating maintains the sharpness of the cutting edge, and at the same time achieves the performance of a coated tool. Ideal for machining non ferrous and non metallic materials, such as aluminium, copper, composites, and plastics.

NF8 - Honed and AlTiN coated carbide grade
Honed and coated carbide grade NF8 is a AlTiN coated carbide grade coated with a 5 micron edge hone. Same mechanical properties as coated grade F8. The honing generates a strong and slightly rounded edge which is ideal for machining parts with interrupted cuts or where a smoother surface finish is required. Ideal for machining medium size parts, Ø6mm and above, in stainless steel and various high temperature alloys.
ND7, ND8, ND10 - Honed and AlCrN coated carbide grade
Honed and coated carbide grades ND7, ND8 and ND10 are AlCrN coated M grades 7, 8, 10 with a 5 micron edge hone.
