These threading inserts feature additional side clearance along the profile while maintaining exceptional stability.

Select your holders with the ideal cutting angle

Cutting angle: +2°, +4°,+6°

  • The secret of threading really small parts is to select the correct cutting angle of the toolholder.
  • WhizThread tool holders are available with a 2°, 4° and +6° or bigger cutting angle.

Pitch and diameter

  • The WhizGuide-table recommends an appropriate toolholder, depending on part thread and diameter.
  • If you have a very high pitch-to-diameter-ratio we advice special toolholders.
