WhizAdapt PZ
QUICK CHANGE HOLDERS FOR SWISS TYPE LATHES
MAS Tools GmbH, the inventors of the PZ©turn quick change holders for Swiss-type lathes, have truly excelled with this stable and durable quick change system. The tapered polygon design provides excellent support and repeatability. The heads are precisely clamped back into the center of the taper by an angled M5x0,5-screw, ensuring perfect alignment. With WhizAdapt PZ, you can achieve exceptional precision and efficiency in your CNC Swiss lathe.
Combine quick change holders with WhizCut inserts
Available with most WhizCut insert pockets, all heads come equipped with WhizHip coolant nozzles, ensuring optimal coolant delivery to the cutting edge. The WhizAdapt PZ heads, ranging from PZ10 to PZ16, provide versatile solutions for your needs. Additionally, PZ©turn offers a comprehensive range of ISO pockets, with other heads available upon request. The WhizAdapt PZ quick change feature allows for insert indexing within just 30 seconds, maximizing your efficiency and minimizing downtime.

WhizCut develops holders, cassettes, and specialized tools & tool holders for multi-spindles. The focus of WhizAdapt Multi is on high-volume production to save material, reduce cycle times, and enhance part quality.
Our WhizTwin excels in the stable environment of multi-spindle lathes. Customers machining stainless steel have reduced the insert width by 1 mm with WhizAdapt Multi, resulting in increased tool life and improved surface finish. Our wiper inserts ensure excellent surface finish and consistent part size, ideal for medical parts in titanium and stainless steel.
